The Iceberg is an undersink water chiller, which supplies filtered water on demand from a counter-mounted tap adjacent to your sink or handbowl. The impressively quiet electric refrigeration unit installs discretely inside your base cupboard and can dispense a cool 11.5 litres an hour.

 

Within the Iceberg water cooler there is a cold water tank which is constructed of stainless steel and will hold about 3.1 litres (around 12 to 18 glasses) and will only take 25 minutes to re-chill if the tank is totally emptied.
The Iceberg will chill the water to 7°C ±2°C.

Permeate Pump is a simple, yet revolutionary, device. Powered only by the hydraulic energy of brine water usually lost to the drain (i.e. no electricity required), the Permeate Pump forces product water into the storage tank, reducing membrane back pressure and maximizing available feed pressure.

 

These pumps dramatically improve the efficiency of RO water production, reducing wastewater by up to 80%. Permeate Pumps can also bring storage tanks up to line pressure and then shut the system down when these tanks reach capacity, eliminating the need for a hydraulic shut-off valve.

How does the permeate pump work?
The ERP 1000 Permeate pump is using the energy of the brine Water of your RO- system, to pump the permeate into your pressure Tank. It does not require electricity for that. It is just using hydraulic energy that normally goes to drain unused.

 

This way, it isolates your Tank from the membrane and lets your membrane perform like in an atmospheric tank system.

 

This low voltage pump is designed to operate continuously at near constant pressure until the product water tank is full. The output pressure is dependent on the reverse osmosis system's total flow requirement, feed water pressure and available power source.

These booster pumps are to be installed on the raw water line feeding the RO unit. If you have low water pressure on the raw water line feeding the RO unit, this booster pump will increase your water pressure so the RO unit will make RO water at a faster rate, for storage in the RO tank.

 

Simply install the pump inline between your prefilters and RO membranes.
